Their unique service model places special emphasis on transforming a person’s crisis situation into an opportunity for empowerment and self-sufficiency. NOTE: The address listed here is for the Women’s Shelter, which is also the Friendship House office. Services Love and Laundry is open daily from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Locals are allowed to sign up to do their laundry at no cost. Clothes Closet Giving Room is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you are in need of (or would like to donate) clothing, please feel free to stop by. Dinner at the Friendship House Café is served from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
