Al-Anon – North Whidbey is a fellowship of people that come together for help, because their loved one’s drinking is affecting them. It’s often difficult to see an individual one cares for spiral into addiction. Their friends & family feel hurt, angry, punitive, sad, and altogether lost in trying to help them quit.
There are few others that can understand the difficulties and hardships that friends, family, and their loved one face. But those in Al-Anon do understand. They, too, have been there. Individuals will find help, support, and freedom from this illness.
Loved ones may include:
- Spouses
- Siblings
- Children or Grandchildren
- Parents or Grandparents
- Friends

NOTE: To avoid confusion, “AFG” is short for “Al-Anon Family Group.”
